Rechelle Leahy is the Job Coordinator for the Local Jobs Program in the New England North West, delivering the program through RegionalCollab. She chairs the Local Jobs and Skills Taskforce, oversees the Local Jobs Plan, and works with employers, training providers and community to create pathways to employment. Rechelle brings extensive experience in regional development and workforce participation, and has been recognised in the Australian Financial Review 100 Women of Influence for her work supporting rural and regional communities.

Rebecca is a dedicated team member of the Local Jobs Program, bringing a passion for community development and employment pathways. With experience in workforce development, job matching, and community engagement, Rebecca works closely with participants to help them identify opportunities, develop skills, and navigate job placement. She is committed to ensuring that every individual in the Local Jobs program feels supported, empowered, and equipped to take the next step in their career journey.

Sarah provides administrative and coordination support for the Local Jobs Program across the New England North West region. She assists with stakeholder engagement, communications, reporting and the organisation of meetings and events, helping to ensure the program runs smoothly and continues to support local workforce and employment initiatives.

Local Jobs and Skills Taskforce

Our region has a Local Jobs and Skills Taskforce chaired by the Job Coordinator, with members from the community. The taskforce works together on local employment solutions, skills priorities and the Local Jobs Plan.
